SCROLLING NOTATION
|
 |
In addition to all of the
other methods of viewing information in Guitar Magic, you also have a
scrolling notation/tablature staff that displays along with the
fretboard.
There are
many benefits to the scrolling staff:
 |
See where
the exercise is going ahead of time - It is helpful to
be able to look ahead during playback to see what is coming up next.
This makes it easy to follow along when playing along with the
fretboard. |
| |
The music scrolls along with the examples. In both standard notation
and tabulature!

|
 |
Helps you to
read music - Learn where the notes are located on the
music staff in relation to placement on the guitar fretboard, as well
as the timing of note symbols. |
 |
Helps you
develop your rhythm and timing - Seeing the note values
while hearing them being played is a powerful teaching and practice
tool for your development of rhythm and timing, which is essential to
being a good musician. |
 |
Helps with
musical analysis of fretboard demonstrations - Playing
along with and studying your musical demonstrations will make your
analysis easier and more complete. |
 |
Get the
benefit of tablature - You will learn tablature by
seeing how it relates to the fretboard. Tablature is also a great
visual tool that gives you an alternate view of the musical
demonstration. |
 |
Lets you set
start points for playback - The scrolling staff lets you
set playback to start on any measure within the song, so you can
instantly jump to a section that you need more work on or that you want
to take a closer look at. |
 |
Great for
step by step playback - step through any exercise or
song, note by note, to see the fretboard and staff moving
simultaneously. This gives you total control over playback. |
